My schedule-

Week beginning task 1-

My first task was to create my blogger account, then design it in a way that’s to do with my work so it’s presentable. I did this so my work would be able to access and can be uploaded to my blog.

Week beginning task 2-

My first task was to complete a magazine analysis for which I chose 3 different billboard music magazine covers. I had to write about the colours images font and why in which these were used on the magazine, I also had to write about if I liked the magazine or not and why. I said what the audience might think about the magazine and why etc. I also had to analyse double page spreads and contents pages from well-known magazine companies. While we were completing this task we were also able to gain ideas for our own music magazines. I also chose a double page spread for music article from the internet and write about it. I had to say why it would appeal to the target audience, why they used certain images and fonts and why I like it

Week beginning task 3-

for this task I started to research into magazine audience, this was so I am able to recognise what types of audiences are interested in certain magazines. I did this through a questionnaire which I created on www.surveymonkey.com after it had been created I sent it out and waited for replies, once I had my replies I analysed all of the answers and came up with an overall idea for my audience for my magazine. This gave me the decision of how to design and create my magazine.

Week beginning task 4-

for this task I started to design my draft ideas for my magazine, I had to take into account all the things I had researched and found out about what makes a magazine popular etc, I started on my front cover of my magazine I also started to think about how I would like my final piece to look like.

Week Beginning task 5-

For this I am going to start on my double page spread and contents page, still taking into account what I had researched beforehand. By the end of the week they should both be complete. I would like to have them complete enough for me to be able to know exactly what I want to do when I start my work on Photoshop when I’m ready.

Week beginning task 6-

For this task I started to take test shots experimenting with different images of the model I used through my magazine, where we experimented in different poses and shot types. This helped me get an idea of how I wanted my magazine images to look.

Week Beginning task 7-

For this task I took my final photos for my magazine, using the right props which would give the audience an idea of what the magazine was for and what the genre of it is.

Week beginning task 8-

This week I started on my final front cover for my magazine, I wanted to make noticeable and eye catching. I used Photoshop to design it using what id already learnt from my research and using the images I took. I also started to work on my double page spread and contents page at the same time.

Week Beginning task 9-

I started to work on my evaluation, where I look back over my previous work and research that id done and analysed it.
